Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th, 1961) was an American actor. Since the mid 80s, Angela Evelyn has worked on film and television. The actress has won many awards, including 16 NAACP Image Awards. Bassett born in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt following her birth at New York New York, is an acclaimed actor. Bassett was able to move with her younger twin sister in St. Petersburg Florida at age five in order in order to be closer to their mother, who was separated from their father. Bassett was in high school when she was able to see James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck production Of Mice and Men and was aware that her goal of being an actor had been realized. Yale University New Haven Connecticut was where she earned her bachelor's degree in African American and master's degrees (1983). While at Yale she came across Courtney B. Vance a co-actor and they were married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. In African-American Studies, the year 1980. Master of Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett is currently working in one of the lead roles as Ramonda in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
